Last week we offered you the first of a two-part series about growing up in Israel on a kibbutz. In that program Rachel Biale spoke about her experiences in the 1950s. This week we are speaking with Shaked Barr, who grew up in Kibbutz Gonen in the 1980s and 90s.
NOTE: This program is shorter than usual because it was recorded in Israel on June 22, during the war, and because of general exhaustion we didn’t have a lot of time for the interview. We really appreciate Shaked’s finding the time to speak with us. (In fact, as I was posting this program an alarm went off…..)
