En enero, al cumplirse 80 años de la liberación de Auschwitz, Tomi subió a un barco de la marina israelí, llamado simbólicamente “INS Victoria”. A su lado, su bisnieta, la Capitán A., segunda al mando del barco. Yosef Weiner Z”L, sobreviviente del Holocausto que perdió el 7/10 a su nieto Yahav, su nieta Hadar y su esposo Itay, falleció.
