ENGLISH CORNER, CON LINDA JIMÉNEZ – This week’s trivia question: About how many Spanish educators have taken the course in how to teach the Holocaust which is given at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem?
Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, which is located in Jerusalem,has been carrying out activities in Spain for more than 17 years. An official Association, Yad Vashem España, was recently created in order to offer a program of activities to its members, and Spanish society as a whole, so that through its objectives of Testimony, Memory and Education the greatest genocide in human history, the Holocaust, will not be forgotten.
This week we are speaking with Samuel Bengio, the President of the Yad Vashem España Association.
