Mazál opened in Madrid as a New York-style bagel shop in 2020 and over time has expanded to include other products. It has a coffee shop, so you can either eat there or take your bagels home. The shop is the brainchild of Tamara Cohen, an American expat who has lived in Spain since 2015. This week she is speaking with us about how the idea for a bagel place came to her, how it has developed, and the variety of products that they offer.
